Updated: Mar 27, 2023

Locati LLC, located in the heart of Bucks County, PA presented its February auction that ended on the 19th. Over 500 lots were offered spanning a wide range of periods and categories. Highlights include; a Pennsylvania stoneware jar attributed to Remmey, an assembled pair of Chinese porcelain jars, a Thomas Moser shaker style cherry chest, a Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Yamantaka, two volumes from 1791 Boswell’s Life of Samuel Johnson, and a Walter Granville-Smith (American, 1870-1938) landscape, oil on board.

Co-owner Michael Locati commented, "We had strong participation in this auction, on four bidding platforms, from left bids made during our one-week preview event and on the floor.”

All lots at Locati LLC start at the reserve price. The February auction had a sell-through rate of 90%.

"We are offering appealing auctions on a monthly basis, great especially for new collectors, as our average lot price is usually between $400 and $500,” added Locati. Michael noted that this is another good sale with more fresh-to-the-market items in a wide range of interests.
