Rolex watches, a Steinway grand piano and Stickley furniture are some of the items in the upcoming September sale at Locati, with online bidding available from September 4 to 18.
"We consider September the first auction of the season," said Locati co-owner Michael Locati. "We are always excited to unveil the September auction after a summer hiatus," he said.
Buyers can place bids online through three major platforms, Liveauctioneers, Invaluable, and Bidsquare. This ensures global exposure for consignors and gives bidders several options during the auction.
Bidders who are local are welcome to inspect items in person by stopping in our new Bucks County, Pa, showroom at 761 Durham Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. We are located two hours from New York City and one hour from Philadelphia.
Our live auction is open to the public.
A few of the highlights for September sale include: a still life oil on canvas by Albert Francis King (Pennsylvania, 1854-1945); furniture by Wallace Nutting and Gustave Stickley; several Rolex watches including a 1976 Submariner; a large about of fine jewelry; a table by Mira Nakashima; Russian Imperial period silver items; a 19th century Steinway grand piano; Americana items; fine Chinese porcelain; a Continental Baroque style scagliola, a walnut table, sterling tableware and much more.
Locati offers monthly auctions from September through June each year, always offering an eclectic mix of categories, from jewelry and silver to fine art and furniture.
